In the villages of Para, Kutubpur Parsi ka Dera, Kharaunj, Shankarpur and Jalla, a remarkable initiative unfolded under the banner of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” — a grand plantation campaign led by Samarth India. Farmers’ fields became the canvas for change as 1,000 saplings were planted, each symbolising gratitude to mothers and a commitment to the environment.

The campaign was not just about planting trees; it was about building collective responsibility. Local leaders such as Para Gram Pradhan Santosh Kumar Vishwakarma, Jalla Gram Pradhan Santosh Singh, and Gram Secretary Om Prakash joined hands with community members including Kumkum, Nidhi, Rauli, Anjali, Shanti, Bushra and Sharda. Together, they pledged to nurture and protect every sapling, ensuring that the plantation thrives for generations to come.
